Precise Clamping Without Deformation! Lisong Direct Clamping Structure Ensures Dimensional Consistency of Thin-Walled Small Buckets

2026-10-14

Thin-walled small buckets feature ultra-thin walls and deep cavities, which impose extremely high requirements on clamping rigidity and precision during molding. Traditional toggle injection molding machines suffer from uneven distribution of clamping force. Under high-pressure injection, the platen is prone to deformation, causing minor mold separation. This results in defects such as flash, bucket bulging and elliptical openings. Large dimensional fluctuations and poor batch stability lead to substantial labor costs for subsequent trimming and inspection, making it difficult to meet the standardized requirements for food packaging buckets.

The Lisong injection molding machine specially developed for thin-walled small bucket molding adopts a mechanical direct center clamping structure. The clamping force acts centrally on the platen, and its stress distribution perfectly matches the stress characteristics of thin-wall bucket molds. Equipped with a thickened high-rigidity frame and high-precision machined platens, the machine boasts strong resistance to deformation. During high-speed and high-pressure injection, platen deformation is minimal, the mold parting surface remains tightly closed, and local mold expansion is eliminated.

This direct clamping system can withstand long-term high-frequency and high-pressure working conditions for thin-wall molding, stably restraining flash, bucket deformation and dimensional deviations of openings. The wall thickness, opening diameter and bucket height of every molded product maintain high consistency. Buckets feature excellent roundness at the opening and good flatness, requiring little manual trimming and polishing and reducing labor input in post-processing procedures.

Superior clamping rigidity also reduces mold damage. Mold expansion is a major trigger for mold wear. Repeated mold expansion accelerates the wear of parting surfaces and shortens mold service life. The Lisong direct clamping system firmly locks the mold to prevent minor mold separation under high-pressure injection, mitigating mold abrasion, extending mold service life and cutting costs for mold maintenance and remanufacturing.

Thin-walled food buckets, storage buckets and industrial small buckets all have strict requirements for dimensional consistency. Food buckets need precise fit with lids; elliptical openings will cause poor sealing and leakage. The stable dimensional accuracy brought by Lisong direct clamping ensures smooth assembly of bucket lids and meets the assembly demands of downstream customers.

Clamping uniformity is particularly critical for multi-cavity thin-walled small bucket molds. Toggle machines tend to bear uneven force at four corners, resulting in flash in individual cavities. Direct center clamping delivers balanced force and consistent product quality across all cavities, suitable for mass production with multi-cavity molds. Reliable clamping enables high-precision standardized mass production of thin-walled small buckets, helping packaging factories consistently deliver high-quality products.
